Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2024 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2024. Throughout the coming weeks, be on the lookout for our MD Public School Top 10, as well as a slew of additional preseason coverage.    

# 22 Parkside Rams   

The Rams took home the 2A State Championship in 2023 behind sound defense, timely hitting and All Bayside Conference Pitcher of the Year in Aidan Brinsfield. The Rams roster looks different in 2024, as Brinsfield, Ethan Holland, Tyler Janeski, Gino Meinschein, Zachary Robinson and John Smith have all graduated and the void from those impact seniors will beed to be filled if the Rams look for continued success this spring.

The Rams do bring back a slew of impact arms, with the likes of Dillon Bratten, Storm Hartman, Tristan Merritt and Casey Parsons. Look for key bats in Connor Bailey and Blake Ford to provide some thump and consistency throughout the lineup to try to fill some holes in the lineup vacated by the graduating seniors. 

The Rams reached the mountain top in 2023, and the experience gained from the milestone should bode well for 2024.
