Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2024 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2024. Throughout the coming weeks, be on the lookout for our MD Public School Top 10, as well as a slew of additional preseason coverage.    

# 24 Hereford Bulls   

It's another exciting season on the horizon for the Bulls, as pitching depth and talent is at the forefront once again heading into 2024. The departures of key two-ways in Truitt Brinsfield and Liam Diehl to graduation are big hits, however the experience and leadership from returning seniors in Jack Kinsey, Andrew Larkin and Ryan Larkin should bode well for continued success this spring. A "dark horse" that is in line for a breakout season is southpaw Gavin Jacker, a junior left-hander poised to add depth to what is already a fairly loaded pitching staff. 

If the defense plays clean consistently and the arms pound the zone, this Hereford Bulls team should be a lot of fun to watch in 2024. Look for key bats in juniors Liam Kopajtic, Willie DeSantis and Leighton Alsip to provide depth throughout the lineup.
