2024 Spring Team Preview: East Jordan Red Devils
Team Name: East Jordan Red Devils
Head Coach: Tom Reid
Division: 4
2023 Record: 25-7
2023 Tourney Finish: Regional Finals loss to Painesville-Jeffers
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/5
Coach Outlook: "We graduated a pretty talented '23 class, but our three returning starters were major contributers to last year's regional finalist team. My reserves from last year, who were mainly underclassmen, are primed and ready to step in and fill the shoes of the boys who left. I have 3 very good starting pitchers, with at least two good arms to eat up excess innings for us with a couple young guys who we still have more to learn about. These boys will compete every game and should be primed to make a deep tournament run again this year. Last year's second team All State Junior lefty pitcher Korbyn Russell is back to lead us on the mound and last year's offensive team leader in just about every category, Junior Brenden Aenis is primed to lead us at the plate. Defensively, we should be solid everywhere, while offensively, I am expecting some big production from this squad. I'm certainly looking forward to what 2024 has in store for EastJordan Red Devils baseball!"
