PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Brisk: I chose Northern State because the fit felt right.  Out of all of the schools I toured it just had the right feel along with great coaches, facilities and academics

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Brisk: I was considering some other D2 schools and some D3 schools

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Brisk: I believe the first time the coaching staff saw me was a league legion game in the summer and then again in the legion state tournament.  After that I reached out to them and then I visited

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Brisk: It was a great feeling after committing to now focus on just school and baseball

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Brisk: One of the main factors was competing at a high level to have great competition at the next level

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Brisk: My dad has helped me the most from coaching me in youth ball, to the occasional batting practice, and getting me in the weight room

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Brisk: The recruiting process was harder than I had expected.  From visits every week to trying to rule out other great schools

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Brisk: I believe my freshmen year I will be competing for a spot at first base right away and I plan on trying to compete as a pitcher as well

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Brisk: My most memorable moment in baseball by far is our legion team placing 6th in state this year

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Brisk: The best player I have played against is Jordan Barth from Cold Springs.
