2024 OUTLOOK

”The 2023 season didn't end the way we wanted it to. Despite a final 16-5 record, best in Ogilvie Baseball History, we ended up placing 2nd in the Conference and we were eliminated in the Section Quarter Finals. We also lost our leadoff hitter and starting catcher to graduation so they will be greatly missed. Luckily though, we have a very solid returning nucleus consisting of 6 seniors, all of whom project to start. We feel like our pitching can keep us in any game, and we know our batters can rake (team .368 AVG in 2023). If we can clean up the little mistakes, I believe that this years team can go even farther.” - Benji Besser, Head Coach
