Four Missouri prospects have named their schools, including a pair from St. Louis University High. A look at who’s going where:

+ Joe Hope, a 6-foot-2 RHP from Parkway North HS, has committed to Jefferson College. Ranked No. 15 in Missouri’s 2014 class, Hope posted a 3-1 record with a 3.14 ERA as a junior. In 29 innings, he recorded 32 strikeouts and walked 13.

+ Mick Layton, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound RHP from SLUH, has committed to St. Louis University. Layton, who threw only 4.1 innings last year for the Billikens, has seen a significant velocity jump over the fall.

+ John Ceriotti, a 6-foot-1, 172-pound INF from SLUH, has committed to Missouri S&T. Ceriotti showed well at a PBR event last February, when he was clocked at 81 mph from shortstop and ran a 7.28 60. Offensively, he showed bat speed at the plate, registering 86 mph exit velocity off the tee. Ceriotti is currently ranked No. 52 in Missouri’s 2014 class.

+ Brendan Schaefer, a LHP from Pattonville HS, has committed to Maryville. As a junior, Schaefer posted a 2-0 record with a 1.50 ERA. He struck out 16 in 14 innings pitched.
