Prep Baseball Report hosted the MoKan Summer Open on June 29th at Mac N Seitz's training facility.   The event was a pro-style workout of 32 players coming from both Missouri and Kansas.  Although the event was smaller in numbers it was not small on talent with multiple players posting some impressive numbers on the day.  You can click on the player's name to access their individual player profile.  Today we take a look at all the leaders in fastball metrics and data collected by Trackman during their bullpen sessions.

Denton Biller posted the top fastball velocity at 87.23 mph to go along with the top spin metrics on the fastball at 2399 rpm.  Tommy Lapour came in at 86.58 mph with spin rates up to 2099 rpm.  Cooper Hudson posted the top fastball in the 2024 class at 83.32 mph with Reid Robinson posting the firmest fastball in the 2025 class at 78.73 mph.

Collin Dobson had the second highest spinning fastball at the event at highest in the 2024 class at 2318 rpm.  Cooper Hudson matched his 83 mph fastball with a 2281 rpm spin rate.  2023 Myles Chapman had the highest induced vertical break at the event and in the 2023 class at 25 inches of vertical break giving the fastball some serious riding life through the zone.  Slayde Jennerwein came in right behind him posting his own impressive 24.4 inches of vertical break with Gavin Smith coming in at 23.3 inches.

2025 grad Reid Robinson had the most horizontal break on the fastball at 18.9 inches of break.  Cooper Hudson was right behind him at 17.9 inches of horizontal movement leading the way in the 2024 class.  Caden Carter ran his fastball at 17.3 inches of horizontal break coming from the left side.  Kona Hudson posted the most horizontal break in the 2022 class at 14.3 inches.
