The Missouri Scout Blog provides insider information and scouting notes from the PBR Scouting Staff during the season. This running blog will feature information on underclass prospects, unsigned seniors, draft prospects, and anything else that is notable. We will provide a wide range of information, including player evaluations, velocities, pop times, home to first times, and more. Simply put, the Missouri Scout Blog is loaded with information collected via our boots-on-the-ground coverage of the state's high school season.

SCOUT BLOG (LISTED ALPHABETICALLY)

Michael Callahan, OF, Lafayette (MO), 2025
Missouri State commit. One of the top juniors in Missouri. Table-setter type on offense with a mature feel for the game. Short quick right-handed swing, sprays the ball to all fields. Advanced runner for age, has the speed to be a constant threat on the diamond. Not afraid to take the extra base or use an advanced two strike approach to get the job done, consistently puts pressure on the defense.

Drew Dickerson, INF, Lee’s Summit West (MO), 2024
Oklahoma signee. Strong and physical with broad shoulders, the 6-foot-3, 206-pound shortstop is one of the best athletes on the field at all times. Defensively, Dickerson covers ground at short with ease, making even some of the more difficult plays look routine. Offensively, the senior has improved his barrel control while adding even more power at the plate - kicking off the weekend with a no stride, two strike approach no-doubt bomb to left field in his first at bat of the year. Should be a follow MLB Draft prospect as the spring rolls on.
