Apex Friendship Continues Its Upset Ways

From TUE 05.02.23 | Round 2 of the Southwest Wake 4A Conference Tournament featured 5th seed Apex Friendship and 2nd seed Holly Springs.  Apex Friendship jumped out to a lead by scoring 2 runs in the first inning. Holly Springs battled back by scoring 2 runs in the third inning. Apex Friendship answered back in the fifth inning by scoring 3 runs. The key hit was a base loaded single by Jentz Steiner scoring two runs. Holly Springs tried to rally in the bottom of the fifth, but freshman, LHP, Owen Cirasole, stopped the rally by picking off a runner on first base and striking out a batter. Cirasole worked a quick one, two, three bottom of the seventh to collect the win in relief.

Strength present with some length at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds. Repeats the delivery working with some ease. Solid athlete over the rubber.  Long, athletic arm, works through an over-the-top slot. High front side creates some leverage.  Fastball at
