Impact Spotlight: Uncommitted Elite Arm

Brandon Hall
North Carolina Director of Scouting

The Impact Spotlight continues to highlight uncommitted players that may make an impact at the next level.  Each player spotlighted has attended a PBR event, securing a full PBR profile with an evaluation, statistics, and a video.  Players attending PBR events are able to connect with over 800+ college coaches and pro scouts that subscribe to PBR.  Inside the Impact Spotlight, each player will have evaluations and video available.

Over the course of January and February, PBR scoured the state to identify players for college coaches and professional scouts.  Events included scout days, open IDs, and invitation only showcases.

Kyle Mott (RHP, 2018, Fuquay-Varina HS) attended the recent NC Procase and raised some eyebrows with his stature and stuff.  Mott missed some of the summer and fall with minor injuries that could be attributed to his continued growth.

While Mott is still uncommitted, this may not last long, based on the phone calls about him and the interest in his PBR Profile page.  Below is the full scouting report and video from his breakout performance at the Procase in early February.
