NC Power 25: April 17, 2023

PBR Scouts of North Carolina have been on the road and pouring through box scores over the 1st two weeks of the North Carolina High School season getting to know the players and teams in 2023. Below, we update the North Carolina Power 25.

For the April 17, 2023 release, we have three good weeks of action across the state to evaluate.  While many schools took some of their spring break to play in tournament action, PBR scouts took that time to see as many teams as possible.  East Forsyth remains at No. 1 with Wake Forest solidified at No. 2.  Both clubs have played at a very high level over the past month. 

Five clubs make their way into the Power 25, 4 of the teams see their first ranking in 2023.  Orange HS had a brief stay at No. 25, dropping out two weeks later, but playing their way back into the rankings over their spring break. 

Inside the rankings below, North Carolina Director of Scouting gives some insight on each team in the rankings, defending or explaining the rational for teams being slotted as they are.  With the depth of talent in North Carolina, there is plenty of room to debate which teams should be in, or out, of the Power 25.

PBR Scouts will continue to follow all of the action daily through our Inside the Box blog as well as being on the road and in person to see as many teams from across North Carolina as possible.
