Colby Wallace, SS, Pinecrest HS, 2023
East Carolina commit.  Strength present in an athletic 6-foot-1 build.  Right handed hitter with strength through contact and a quick bat.  Balanced and athletic in his setup.  Hands rest near his ear.  Small leg lift and stride with a rhythmic load in the hands.  Bat head works from a flat position, direct to the ball.  Showed barrel feel and zone awareness through the night.  Defensively shows good hands with a soft funnel and easy exchange from his mid-section.  Short arm action working to a high-3/4 release.  Athletic through the catch and release.  Average feet and range.  Feet do stay active through the catch and release.
