Prep Baseball Report

NC Pitcher of the Week: March 18 - 23, 2024

Brandon Hall
NC / Mid-Atlantic Scouting Director

Throughout the 2024 season Prep Baseball Scouts will be working to track and see as many games and players as possible. Each week the scouting staff will post game coverage, scout blog, player video and more.  This will be done in conjunction with Inside the Box, a daily scoreboard with select game and player highlights.

Through all the work to cover high school baseball in North Carolina, our scouting staff will be naming a player and pitcher of the week, each week of the high school regular season. Along with all the games Prep Baseball Scouts will see, cover, and examine, high school coaches will also be able to pass along information on how their players performed.  On Friday of each week, the Prep Baseball staff will contact high school coaches in North Carolina.  All players that are submitted will be considered for Player and Pitcher of the Week.

Starting this week, we are opening up the process to baseball fans across North Carolina.  After all the submissions were compiled, the Prep Baseball Staff selected three players.  These players' stats were posted to X and Instagram as part of a poll, where the baseball fans in North Carolina could help select the Player and Pitcher of the Week.

Coaches can also email Brandon Hall at [email protected] to submit player nominations.
