Upright swing in the box that produces barrels in the zone and plenty of lift on the 99.9mph exit velos. On the mound Giovanni has smooth mechanics that allows him to repeat his release point and command the zone with all of this pitches, fastball and cutter are the two best pitches at the moment but changeup/curveball will improve with experience. Buccino has plenty of power and size as a freshman but can turn into a prospect to follow with continued maturity. |
