While our 2024 winter event schedule is in full gear, we want to highlight some of the standout players from last weeks events. These are players, that are uncomitted, who caught the attention of Prep Baseball staff.

Parker Goodness SS / RHP / Greece Athena, NY / 2026

2-way potential. Big arm, shines on the mound. Quick arm, soild 3-pitch mix. Good movement on everything. 

Brody Keller SS / 3B / Hilton, NY / 2027

Burst on to the stage. The Freshman is ready to make an impact. Long levers; more in the tank. Can really spin it, with advanced feel for off-speed. 

Ryan Pettograsso 3B / SS / Lansing, NY / 2025

Rankings  StateRank: 63 / POS: 3

Continues to get stronger. MIF actions with corner IF power. Found the barrel all round with some lift. Middle of the order potential.

Willoughby Puryear LHP / 1B / Charles O Dickerson, NY / 2026 

Quick hands and some easy juice. Good gap-2-gap approach. Also showed a strong arm (IF velo: 82mph, FB: 81mph).

Connor Davy SS / 2B / BAINBRIDGE-GUILFORD , NY / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 80 / POS: 14

Quick twitch athlete. Easy barrel turn; stays on plane. Line drive machine (EV: 97mph). One of the top 60 times at 6.85.

Christopher McLaughlin 3B / RHP / CBA - Albany, NY / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 51 / POS: 2

Big 2-way potential at the next level. Prototype 3B build. Rocket accross the infield at 89mph IF velo. Pop in the bat with EV up to 92mph. Also, sat in the mid 80's with his FB (85mph).

Andrew Crux OF / RHP / Mohonasen, NY / 2025

Rankings  StateRank: 32 / POS: 4

Can play all 3 OF postions. Big time arm, up to 90mph from the OF. Gap-2-gap juice from the left side with EV of 91mph. Also, got on the mound and is very pitchable. FB up to 83mph.

Aidan Hulett C / RHP / Columbia, NY / 2026

Rankings  StateRank: 56 / POS: 10

Easy to see why he is one of the best Catchers in the state. Does eberything well and will throw you out. Consistently around a 2.0 POP time. Throws are right on the bag. Strong balanced stance at the plate. Showed some big time pull side juice (EV- 91mph).

Brendan McLoughlin C / OF / Shaker, NY / 2025

Rankings  StateRank: 77 / POS: 12

Middle of the order bat. Put on a laser show during BP. Good athlete who can play multiple postions. Showed a strong arm with 77mph Catchers velocity and a 1.95 POP time.  

Justin Christensen SS / RHP / South Glens Falls, NY / 2025

Rankings  StateRank: 137 / POS: 24

Made a big jump on the mound. Showed 2-way potential. Has a rocket arm; 85mph across the diamond. FB sat mid 80's on the hill, topping at 86mph. Ready for a breakout Junior season. 

Owen Turner OF / RHP / Bethlehem, NY / 2025 

Quick twith athlete. Ran one of the fastest times of the day. Solid 3-pitch mix on the mound. FB up to 86mph.

Sam Muller OF / RHP / Iona Preparatory, NY / 2025

Rankings  StateRank: 121 / POS: 21

Long muscular frame. Big upside. Can really drop the barrel on the ball creating some nice carry and pull side pop (EV- 93mph). Moves well and has a very strong arm (OF-Velo: 86mph). 

James Sanford C / OF / Putnam Valley, NY / 2025

Rankings  StateRank: 220 / POS: 30

Athletic Catcher with a quick realease and strong arm (C-Velo: 76mph; POP time: 1.97). Continues to make gains at the plate with EV up to 90mph. 

Anthony Molinini SS / 2B / St. Joseph by the Sea, NY / 2026

LHH middle infielder with some range. Smooth actions and a strong arm (IF Velocity: 86mph). Clean bat path at the plate and consistent barrels (EV: 90mph). Poised for a breakout sophomore season. 

Gavin Townsend RHP / 3B / White Plains, NY / 2025

Rankings  StateRank: 91 / POS: 26

Always had a strong arm but continues to improve his pitchabilty. Starter potential at the next level. Dominant 3-pitch mix. 

Nick Kreatsoulas SS / 3B / Carmel, NY / 2025

Athletic Infielder with big time juice. Some of the loudest barrels of the day (EV: 97mph). Strong arm at 81mph across the diamond. Has the bat and strength to play the left side of the infield at the next level.
