Ontario Insider: Commitment Spotlight - Leo Markotic

Leo MarkoticName: Leo Markotic

Background: Markotic is a physical player with strength and a muscular frame with juice in his bat from the right-side. The 2018 grad shows good lateral movement in the infield with soft hands and proper footwork, the arm shows enough carry right now but will be a part of his game that will need improvement heading into the winter to prepare for his senior year and heading into college. At the plate is where Markotic shines as he displays bat speed with an aggressive approach, more of a line drive, gap-to-gap hitter than straight power guy but should increase power numbers as he matures. Overall, one of the top prospects in the province in his age class, Markotic will be a welcoming addition to one of the better junior colleges in the nation.
