PBR West Virginia Announced as Partner of 2nd Annual Mon County Baseball Classic

Today Don Robinson, Executive VP & CFO of MVB Bank announced Prep Baseball Report West Virginia will be an official partner of the 2nd Annual Mon County Baseball Classic held April 27th & 28th at Mon County Ballpark in Granville, WV. The park plays home to the West Virginia Black Bears (MiLB) and the West Virginia University Mountaineers (Big 12).
"The reason we started this last year was because we wanted to provide the players and coaches with an opportunity to play on a big stage, and that's exactly what this ball park does for us. When you think of high level baseball in West Virginia, you immediately think of the Mountaineers and the Black Bears. They have been a pleasure to work with." said Robinson.
A finalized schedule will be released at a later date. Teams scheduled to attend are Spring Valley, Bridgeport, Parkersburg Catholic, George Washington, Morgantown, Notre Dame, University, Moorefield and Trinity
Prep Baseball Report West Virginia will be on site and provide wall to wall 2-day coverage of the event.
"I couldn't be more excited to attend this tournament. Some of the best teams throughout the entire state of West Virginia will be there. I, along with some staff members, will be there from the first pitch to the last pitch." said Josh Kuykendall, Scouting Director of West Virginia.
Robinson is also excited to have PBR West Virginia covering the event.
"To be able to partner with Josh and PBR West Virginia is really an awesome opportunity not only for us at MVB Bank, but for the teams attending the event. We want this event to be a big deal not only in our community, but the entire state. This will be a fun weekend filled with some talented players and good baseball!"
