The playoffs start Tuesday June 3 around the state in all divisions and today’s updated Power 25 Rankings is the last of the regular season.

Stevens Point started out the year at No. 1 and fell as far as No. 5 but finishes the regular season back at the top spot in the state as well as our favorites to take home the hardware in Division 1.

Holmen lost their regular season finale last week dropping their first contest of the year in a 5-1 loss to Chippewa Falls.

Hortonville and Stevens Point both had perfect week’s winnings all their contests.

Denmark, Wilmot, Indian Trail, Janesville Parker all dropped a game this week and fell in the rankings.

Sun Prairie won the Big Eight on Friday with a 4-3 win over Janesville Parker and jumped up to the No. 4 spot in the state.

Appleton North clinched the FVA title last week and is on a six game win streak headed into the playoffs. The Lightning moved up three spots as well.

Bay Port made one of the biggest jumps up to No. 5 moving seven spots and winning the Fox Rivers Classic.

Ashwaubenon and Kimberly cracked the final top 25 of the regular season. Kimberly looks to be playing better baseball of late and typically is a tough team come playoff time.
