Highlighting the offense for the Sharks is ‘24 Barret Ronson and he will be a consistent power threat in the heart of Santiago’s lineup. Defensively, ‘24 Chris Ramirez and ‘24 Austin Gamell are set to lock down the middle of the infield. Cal Poly-Pomona commit, ‘24 Tyler Blade is expected to once again be the leader behind the plate for the Sharks.

Some other names to note for Santiago are ‘24 Jesse Kneip who will contribute on both sides of the ball, bringing back 2.42 ERA on the mound and a .341 batting average, too. ‘24 Logan Clear returns a .333 average from last year, which included five doubles. Junior ‘25 Ethan Morton brings back a 1.9 ERA out of the ‘pen from last year and he is expected to provide the same in 2024.

Coach Ty De Trinidad’s Expectations: “We look to be in the top 3 with the players coming back. ”
