MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - On a rainy Saturday (3/2/19) De La Salle traveled across the Bay to take on St. Francis in what was just about the only action in the region that day. The Lancers won the game 3-2, behind a complete game effort by SFHS 2020 RHP Joey Schott and some situational hitting that produced the three runs. On display in this game were numerous standout players, some committed/signed and plenty of others still going through the recruiting process. Other players are also emerging as talents who need to be known.
One of the most well-known underclass players in this game was De La Salle 2021 RF/1B Blake Burke, who made it a one-run game with this swing in the top of the 7th inning...
