LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - With HS baseball well underway all across SoCal we have been privy to several standout performances so far this season. Because of the amount of standout performances around the region choosing one player for the weekly honor was quite difficult.  

Congratulations are in order for Junior Yechan "Mike" Lee out of Gahr HS as he has been awarded the SoCal Player of the Week for the week of March 19th - March 25th, 2023. 

Lee, one of the standout performers from our Preseason Invitational and now a top uncommitted prospect, had a huge offensive week for the Gladiators going 8-11 with 3 doubles, 2 walks, 6 RBI, and 7 runs scored. Lee a LHH UTL player has a balanced LH swing where his bat works on an on-plane path with some whip through the zone. Below is some video of a couple of ABs from our Preseason Invitational where he made the All-Tournament Team. His offensive performance last week was integral in the Gladiators 3-0 week where they earned a sweep over Bellflower and a quality Saturday win over Foothill. With those wins last week they now stand at 9-2-1 and #18 in our CA POWER 25. With how his bat has performed so far this spring we believe Lee is worthy of being on many college spring watchlists.
