2019 Outlook:

Coming off a strong 2018 season, Coach Faris and the Dolphins are looking to build on their success from last year in one of the toughest divisions in the country. Coach Faris has a young and exciting team after having a lot of young guys play in 2018 and that experience should help to make this Dana Hills team one of the more experienced teams in their league and division. This team is loaded with potential college prospects all over the diamond and they look to have the pieces to make a deep run in the playoffs this year. '19 SS Zach Waters and '20 2B Ethan Ezor are going to lock down the middle of the diamond with young "veterans" in '20 OF Thomas Buckanavage, '20 LHP/OF Dante Jackson, and '21 P/1B CJ Zwahlen all adding depth to the lineup and ready to eat up innings on the mound.

If Coach Faris’ team runs into any issues it will be at the back end of games. Without a reliable closer to call on, the Dolphins will have to mix and match pieces to secure the final outs in games. They will need someone to step up and fill this role early in the season, removing one of the few weakness that the team may have. With a young, experienced team ready to battle it out in one of California's toughest conferences look for this Dana Hills team to be a contender again come playoff time.
