The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state.  While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

Grandview 17 Smoky Hill 0
Grandview came out hot versus Smoky Hill on Thursday, scoring 5 in both the 2nd and 3rd innings, and added another 7 in the top of the 4th to cruise to the win.  Grandview was led on the mound by 2019 Peter Goldy who went 4 innings allowing 1 hit to go along with 6 strikeouts, and at the plate he went 2 for 2 with a jack and 3 RBI’s.  In addition, for Grandview 2020 Isaac Smith went 2 for 4 with a homerun, and 5 RBI’s, and 2021 Ty Chapman went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.

Eaglecrest 7 Cherokee Trail 2
Eaglecrest took the lead in the bottom of the 1st inning and never trailed in their game on Thursday, adding another 4 runs in the bottom of the 2nd to win this important league game for both teams.  Eaglecrest pitchers, 2019 James Cave and 2020 Reece Atteberry combined to throw a 2 hitter to go along with 10 strikeouts.  At the plate 2020 Joey Garduno was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s. 

Chaparral 8 Legend 3
Trailing 1 to 0 going into the bottom of the 3rd inning, Chaparral got hot and scored 5 runs, but Legend answered with a run in the top of the 4th and 5th.  Chaparral added a run in the bottom of the 5th and 2 in the 6th to put the game out of reach.  Chaparral’s 2019 University of Arkansas commit Bryce Matthews was 2 for 4 with a long ball and 3 RBI’s and 2020 Jack Click was 1 for 3 with 3 RBI’s.

Mullen 4 Mountain Range 3
Mullen was trailing 3 to 2 going into the bottom of the 7th and scored 2 runs to beat Mountain Range on Thursday.  Mullen was led by 2019 Jayden Mayoral who pitched a complete game allowing just 3 earned runs to go along with 5 strikeouts.

Rocky Mountain 3 Loveland 0
Rocky Mountain did enough scoring 3 runs to beat Loveland, it help them that pitcher 2019 Scottsdale CC commit Cade Nelson threw a complete 6 hit, 0 run game for them, and at the dish he was 1 for 2 with an RBI.

Boulder 3 Fairview 1
Boulder came out and scored 2 runs in the bottom of the first inning and then added another run in the bottom of the 4th to beat crosstown rival Fairview on Thursday.  Boulder pitchers 2020 Vincent Sauza and 2020 Dorsey Chatham led the Panthers.  Vincent Sauza pitched 5 innings allowing 2 hits and 6 strikeouts, and Dorsey Chatham threw 2 innings allowing 1 hit and had 4 strikeouts. 

Silver Creek 7 Northridge 5
Silver Creek came out strong scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st to take a 4 to 1 lead, then added another 2 in the 3rd, and then had to hold off Northridge who scored 1 in the 6th and 3 in the 7th.  Silver Creek was led by 2019 Tanner Regan who was 2 for 2 with 4 RBI’s.  For Northridge 2019 Joe Lombardelli had a great game going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.

Horizon 5 Fossil Ridge 1
Horizon, led by 2020 J. Martinez who was 3 for 3 with 4 RBI’s, did the job on Thursday to beat Fossil Ridge.  Also for Horizon pitcher 2021 Brady Wiesinger threw a complete game allowing just 5 hits, 1 earned run and had 4 K’s.
