League play is underway in all classification, here is a look at action from yesterday.

Daily Roundup:

Chaparral 4 Ponderosa 0
Chaparral beat Ponderosa in their league game on Wednesday.  Chaparral’s pitcher Colton Schannuth (2018) pitch a great game going 7 innings allowing just 4 hits and striking out 4 batters.  For Ponderosa Joe Maxie was 2 for 3.

ThunderRidge 7 Regis 3
ThunderRidge, behind a great pitching performance by Tim McIntyre (2017) who went 6 innings allowing just 2 earned runs and struck out 8 Regis hitters, won their league game on Wednesday at Regis.  Taylor White (2018) for the Grizzlies had a great game at the plate going 3 for 3 and scoring 2 runs.

Highlands Ranch 7 legend 6
With the game tied 6 to 6 going into the bottom of the 7th inning, Highlands Ranch pushed across the winning run, to win this league contest.  Highlands Ranch was led by, Brett Newman (2017) who went 2 for 4 and driving in 2 runs, and Zack Medina (2019) who was 1 for 3 and had 2 RBI’s.  Legend’s Kyle Cardona (2017) was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI’s and Jordan Stubbings (2017) was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s as well.

Castle View 6 Mountain Vista 0
Castle View scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 2nd, and added 2 more in the 4th and 5th, to win this league contest.  Castle View’s Lance Kelly went 1 for 4 with 2 RBI’s and Dakota Boone was 3 for 4.  Pitching for Castle View was Ryan Kelly who allowed just 2 hits and 5 strike outs.

Valor 10 Golden 3
Going into the 6th inning Valor was leading 2 to 1, and then exploded in the 6th putting up a 7 spot, and then cruised to the win over Golden.  Valor’s Ryan Barber (2018) went 1 for 4 with a jack, and Luke Ziegler (2018) was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 RBI’s.

Wheat Ridge 12 Standley Lake 0
Wheat Ridge scored 4 in the 4th and 7 in the 5th to win their game against Standley Lake.  The Farmers were led by, Travis Cowan who was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI’s and the pitching of, Aaron Arcilise (2019) who threw 4 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits to go with 4 K’s.
