Evaluation: 8/7/16- 5-foot-11, 195-pound left-handed pitcher. Strong compact build. Early hand break, some shoulder tilt, hides baseball, with above avg. late movement on fastball. Fastball was 78-82 mph in this outing; thrown for strikes to both sides of plate. Flashes tight spin on 1/7 curveball with late break; has ability to freeze hitter with depth. Nothing overly flashy, competitive on mound, throws strikes, and consistently misses barrels.

PBR: What schools have you been hearing from?
FRANTZ: Up to this point I have been talking to Johnson County CC in Kansas and Northwest Missouri State.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
FRANTZ: A strong program in education and a school that isn't too far away from Iowa.

PBR: What were some of the highlights of your junior year?
FRANTZ: 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-District as pitcher.

PBR: What are your goals for this year? 
FRANTZ: I would like to be 1st Team All-State, have an ERA under 1.2, and develop more command and consistency with my off-speed pitches.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
FRANTZ: I am in football and track.

PBR: GPA/ACT/SAT?
FRANTZ: I have a 2.9 GPA.
