Notes From No. 7 Lawrence North vs. No. 8 Carmel

The Illinois recruit displayed an easy action delivery, Good poise and balance through game. Repeated delivery the entire game and never lost his rhythm. FB was up to 91. 88-91 mostly 89. Relaxed arm action with CB 73 with large loop and shape. At times he bounced a few as he casted, but made the adjustment to deliver some good shaped 12-6 CB with good spin. He would smell the strike out and attack the hitters. Carmel lineup is fierce at times and he battled through a good game. Tight spot in middle innings he had to bear down and make some sure pitches and he delivered. Not the best from him, because we know what he is like when game is spot on, but he showed good poise, confidence, and never changed his demeanor. Good attitude and stuck to his plan. Gave his team a chance to win.
