Future Games Spotlight: 2018 1B Cade Beloso

On August 4th through August 6th, PBR Louisiana will take seven players in the Classes of 2018 and 2019 to represent Louisiana at the PBR Future Games at Grand Park in Indianapolis, IN. All seven Louisiana prospects will play on Team Select.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, more than 150 colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the nation.

Scouting Report

A 5-foot-11, 190-pound infielder and left-handed pitcher with a medium, strong frame. Quality defender with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchange, and plays through balls athletically. Short, loose arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy and carry on throws that produced a positional velocity of 79 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from balanced, athletic setup, smooth load, leg kick and explosive lower half. Gap to gap, power type hitter with fluid rhythm, level path to slightly uphill path, feel to hit and explosive bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 99 mph. Also posted a 4.5 home to 1st.
