Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2024 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2024. Throughout the coming weeks, be on the lookout for our MD Public School Top 10, as well as a slew of additional preseason coverage.    

#5 Middletown Knights 

The Knights of Middletown have a ton to be excited about as we head into the 2024 spring season, as the roster is loaded with experienced offensive talent throughout. 

The core big three are back, as seniors Fredy Diaz, Joey Nicholson, and Andrew Raymond are all back and are poised for a huge season in the middle of the Knights order. 

On the bump, look for senior Hunter Barnes to lead the staff, with intriguing depth provided by fellow seniors Preston Yost and Tyler Haupt. A key name to keep eyes on is junior lefty Wyatt Hopson who should provide well-needed depth as well.
