Scouting Report

2017 PBR Future Games- Uncommitted 6-foot-5, 220-pound right-handed pitcher. #282 ranked prospect in 2019 PBR Overall Rankings. methodical leg lift that allows his longer arm swing to sync up before his fast arm delivers out of a high ¾ slot. His slider shows the makings a future swing and miss pitch with true-slider shape that is short and late-breaking at 77-78. The way he gets down the mound, it looks like he is going to swallow the batter, and he has the look and stuff of a future big time closer, although he has the durable frame of a starter. Fastball was 87-89 mph, curveball was 77-78 mph, and above average changeup was 76-78 mph.

3/18/17- 6-foot-4, 220-pound left-handed hitting 2-way player. Large build on mound, stretch only, shows body control in delivery, gathers over rubber and drives ball downhill to plate. Fastball was 83-84 mph, flashes of life, with extension to plate. Projects to continue to add velo with size and quicker arm path. Small break on tight spinning curveball with depth and 10/4 shape. Slight cutting action with solid fade on changeup with avg. command. 8.24 runner. Easy load and stride, works mid/away, some length to contact, present strength, flashes of hard contact, 80 mph exit velocity. Solid actions, avg. mobility and quickness, sure hands, accurate to bag, 83 mph arm strength across field.
