UConn has an amazing coaching staff, close knit team, top notch facilities, and sees success every year.

The offseason is upon us. Tell us a little about your off-season training:

Throughout the off-season I work with Scott Chambers for both pitching and lifting. Both the pitching and lifting programs mirror college ball programs and I’ve seen growth from them every year.

Baseball is a game built on adversity & failure. Who is your biggest influence in the game that has helped you handle the ups and downs?

My dad is extremely smart and knows exactly what to say; how to keep me level headed, and not let individual outings effect me, but instead to see the big picture, and think of what I need to work on to achieve my dreams.

Best player you ever shared the field with and why? 

2022 LHP Sam Falace (Colonie/Pitt). I’ve never seen him fail, and I’ve never heard him brag or smack talk. He is a humble beast.

How has your experience been with Prep Baseball Report?

PBR has helped me tremendously, I started out doing the traditional showcases, then when the State and Future Games came along I saw the true impact PBR can have on our recruiting. The exposure we get from attending PBR events, along with the connections held by the staff make the recruitment process ten times easier and much less stressful.

Most memorable PBR event & why?

The Future Games without a doubt. The Future Games was a life changing couple of days for me. First I got to pitch in-front of 200+ scouts, then I had my first college call, and got my first offer all while there. Happiest couple of days of my life.

Unique superstition?

I wrote my Nonno's name in my hat, and look at it every time I take the mound to remind me to be a workhorse on the mound like he was throughout his life.
