2024 RHP ⁦@Cjohnson_1_⁩ (Salina and ⁦@ORUBaseball⁩ commit) has come out of the gates working the FB 87-89 and a sharp 74-76 CB w/strong depth to pick up 5 K’s thru 2

Johnson picked up the opening day start against Owasso and the ORU commit did not disappoint.  The right-hander worked the fastball in the upper 80’s and showed strong action on the curveball to pick up 5 k’s in his 2-inning pre-planned short stint.  The delivery is as clean as we’ve seen it in the past and the arm still works very quickly.  His feel for pitching seems to also have taken a bit of a jump and should be one of the more intriguing prospects to follow throughout the spring as a true number one.
