Uncommitted Spotlight: Adam Khan

Adam Khan RHP / 3B / Aurora, ON / 2020

Background: Adam Khan out of the Toronto Mets organization features the build and stuff you look for out of a pitcher. At 6-foot-3, 155-pounds, with long legs and a lack of current strength, Khan has lots of room to fill out. His delivery has a quick tempo with a high leg kick creating deception toward the plate. The whippy arm is clean in the back, and it releases from a standard 3/4 slot with downhill action. Khan sits in the low 80’s with run on his fastball, to go along with a changeup that plays well off of the pitch as it has fading action. His 11/5 curveball is a work in progress as he lacks true feel for the pitch and it doesn't have bite. The changeup and fastball give him two pitches that he relies on and can trust to get him outs.
