Rosters Released for 2nd Weekend of Fall College Prospect Program

The 1st weekend of the Fall College Prospect Program is in the books and next on the agenda are dates at Temple University (8/24) and Widener University (8/25). Lineups are set for this coming weekend and rosters for both dates have been released. Prep Baseball Report will showcase prospects on 11 college campuses all told during the course of the program with two new schools playing host each weekend.

+ Following is a brief look at some of the pitchers that will headline action over the course of the 2nd weekend. 

Billy PhillipsTemple University (August 24)

LHP Billy Phillips, St. Mark's HS (DE), Class of 2015

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound lefty sits 84-87 and is one of the most heavily recruited uncommitted left-handed pitchers in the north east. Phillips will participate as a pitcher only.

RHP Eric Ligda, Avon Grove HS, Class of 2014

Ligda is a 6-foot-5, 185-pound righty that sits 82-85 with significant run to his fastball and a solid split finger that he uses as his out pitch.

RHP Tim Brennan, Holy Ghost Prep, Class of 2015

Brennan is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound righty that sits in the low-80's with a fluid delivery and a bunch of athleticism. The underclassmen appears to be primed for a significant jump in velocity in the near future.

RHP Joe Molettiere, Pennridge HS, Class of 2015

Molettiere showcased a fastball that sat 86-88 with considerable arm side run at the Eastern PA Open ID Showcase in June. The 6-foot-2, 160-pound righty has a very quick arm and plenty of room to add to his frame. Molettiere earned a spot on the Team PA roster for the Midwest Future Games this summer.

+ Players will register from 8:45-9:00, take live batting practice from (9:15-10:00), take extended infield/outfield from 10:15-10:40 and then play a nine inning game beginning at 11:00am

MuscovitchWidener University (August 25)

RHP Stephen Muscovitch, Owen J. Roberts HS, Class of 2014

Muscovitch is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound righty that sits in the mid-80's with the potential to see 90 in the near future. He has sound mechanics and an athletic frame with solid command of his complimentary pitches.

C/RHP C.J. Pruitt, Sun Valley HS, Class of 2015

Pruitt showed well at the PA Top Prospect Games in June, sitting 83-85 and showed legitimate two-way potential with polished actions behind the plate.

LHP Zach Guth, Franklin HS, Class of 2015

Guth has made a big impression this summer with solid performances at the PA Top Prospect Games, PA Underclass Games and the Big 26 Classic. The 6-foot-3, 165-pound lefty sits in the mid-80's with the ability to cut and run his fastball.

+ Players will register from 8:45-9:00, take live batting practice from (9:15-10:00), take extended infield/outfield from 10:15-10:40 and then play a nine inning game beginning at 11:00am
