We're now just (4) days away from the biggest event of the year, where the keystone state's top 2025's and 2026's will gather in Atlanta, GA for the 2023 Prep Baseball Report Future Games. It was a hard process to reach this point, narrowing down invites after seeing nearly 600 players at the annual Pennsylvania State Games.

Updated schedule release HERE

Team PA's slate begins the afternoon of Wednesday, July 26 with a position player showcase. The much anticipated opener is set for the 27th in a 2022 rematch vs. Team Illinois before facing off with Team Midwest on Friday the 28th. Gameplay wraps up the following day at 2:00PM against an always competitive Team Ohio squad.

Below is a comprehensive preview of what to expect amongst our finalized pitching rotation.

GAME ONE

Braden Leed RHP / 3B / Manheim Township, PA / 2025

INN 1-2. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is strong and durable with long levers and a fluid H ¾ arm-action. Pitched at 85-88MPH this preseason, then bumped up to 87 again at the PA State Games (2495 rpms). Ride/run profile on the FB, mixing a sharp two-tier CB into the mid-70’s and faded 76-78 CH. Lives with advanced movement across the zone.

Drew Yagodzinskie RHP / 1B / Mount Carmel Area , PA / 2025

INN 3-4. A competitor by nature, the physical righty executes to the glove-side with + spin metrics. Velo has been consistent in the 85-87 range w/ some drop and drive down the mound, allowing his 2600+ CB to be a legitimate weapon. Starting to find the CH, too at 76-77 with depth just before the plate, up to 13 inch HM.

Nick Reese LHP / 1B / North Pocono , PA / 2025

INN 5-6. There will be few frames that compare to Reese in Georgia, listed at an imposing 6-foot-4, 230-pounds. It’s ultra-projectable from the left side with the body trending the right way. A hard fall off to the third-base side creates deceptive run on a SNK/SL mix. Pinpoint location of either dead zone at 85-87MPH and 71-74 with much more to come.

Derek Smail 1B / RHP / Clarion Area, PA / 2025

INN 7. The hulking 6-foot-1, 235-pound primary first-baseman rides the hip-hinge with a simple delivery. Nothing extra needed for mid-80’s velo and a low-70’s SL that tunnels out of the hand. Natural heaviness to his release w/ future CH appeal and late sink away from LH hitters. Got the ball in the A state championship.

GAME TWO

Keller Bradley RHP / OF / Pennsbury, PA / 2026

INN 1-2. Fitting the mold of size and upside on Team PA, Bradley was the #2 arm on a state ranked Pennsbury squad as a FR. The 2022 Junior Future Gamer has improved +8MPH on the FB, now at 85-87, T88 and lands a sweeping 68-70 SL horizontally. Also kills spin on a quality 78-80 CH! One of our young names-to-know with a 6-foot-5, 180-pound starter’s build.

Dylan Firmstone RHP / SS / Hempfield Area, PA / 2025

INN 3-4. From Justin Goetz, PBR Georgia: “This arm is the closest thing I found to a guaranteed future starter at 16U Natty. He’s going to have a long career based off not only command, but pitch life. The sharp movement he shows on all 3 is well advanced for his age. A true artist who works with a suffocating tempo on the mound.” FB: 85-86, T87 bore SLV: 75-77 sharp 2plane.

Will Oschell RHP / Malvern Prep, PA / 2025

INN 5-6. On track to follow his brothers as a major D1 arm (Fran; Duke RHP and Charlie; UVA RHP), Oschell is beginning to scratch the surface of what he can be. The body keeps growing at 6-foot-4, 195-pounds with FB angle to the bottom. Reached back for T87MPH (85-86) at #16Nat23 & dropped in a 75-76 CB. #8 ranked pitcher in PA’s 2025 class.

Keegan Deihl RHP / 1B / Pine-Richland, PA / 2025

INN 7. After a loud high school season for Pine Richland in the WPIAL, Deihl has continued momentum for his Orlando Scorpions on the national scene. The frame is every bit of 6-foot-2, 205-pounds with velo up around 90MPH from the stretch-only. Big takeaway through the scap w/ some hop at times from H ¾. Went 5 IP, 7 K, 1 H in his last outing down south. Note: Will also throw the 1st inning of Game 3.

GAME THREE

Ben Kulp RHP / 1B / Wilson, PA / 2026

INN 2-3. A prolific riser in the FR class, Kulp touched 80MPH for the first time this fall. Since then, all he’s done is climb to T87 with a hard block on the front-side and infinite whiffs above the belt. The longtime water-polo player flashes physical maturity at 6-foot-1, 210-pounds. Power H ¾  slot with a taller low-70’s breaker and newly added split CH.

Ryan Fuller RHP / OF / Avon Grove, PA / 2026

INN 4-5. When comparing ceilings at the PA State Games, there might’ve been no one better. The RHP quieted the crowd with all eyes fixated on his + arm-speed and unique, gradual build-up of pace before accelerating into footstrike. PR’d with an 88MPH FB (2272 rpms) and separated on an A/AVG mid-70’s SL. Still thin as a rail at 6-foot, 155-pounds.

Isaiah Shayter MIF / SS / Elizabethtown Area, PA / 2025

INN 6-7. A staff favorite of Deputy Director Nathan Ocker for his loose, elastic circle and ability to leverage, “Shayter produces ++ IVB from a repeatable delivery with a strong backside through rotation.” The FB can grab as high as T89MPH at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds with a vicious 70-72 SLV that expands off the corner. Mixes a firm 80-81 CH to LH batters.
