The PBR Pennsylvania: 12 Days of Christmas

By Greg Williams
PA Director of Scouting

The first year of Prep Baseball Report operations in Pennsylvania has been fantastic. Our staff has seen some outstanding prospects, especially in the Class of 2013 and 2014. To date, 136 of the 225 players currently ranked in the Class of 2013 have signed a letter of intent or made a college commitment. It is our goal this winter and spring to see as many prospects in the Class of 2015 and 2016 as humanly possible. Many of these prospects will demonstrate their abilities at one of our showcase events this winter or summer. Others will rely on our ability to get out and see them play during the high school season or summer travel baseball season.

At this time of year people begin to look back on the year that was. We have been doing the same and decided to document what we have seen in Pennsylvania. After much discussion of a Top 10 list of this, or a Most Outstanding list of that, our staff has decided on 12 articles in the next 12 days. Like any year end list of performances, the order of the list and those who are on it will be a subject for debate. We will be including players from the Class of 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 who have shown the greatest potential.

Beginning today, we will review a different topic each day leading up to Christmas day. We give you the first annual PBR Pennsylvania “12 Days of Christmas”.
