TN Mizuno Player of the Week: Week 6

Each week during the high school season, we will be announcing the Mizuno Pitcher and Player of the Week for that particular week. Numerous players across the state continue to put up impressive numbers both as position players and pitchers on the mound. This year we will be selecting one Pitcher of the Week and one Player of the Week based on nominations from high school coaches across the state. Thanks to Mizuno for sponsoring both awards this season.

MIZUNO PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Carson Rucker SS / 3B / Goodpasture Christian, TN / 2023The former Super 60 participant was 13-19 (.684 avg) at the plate this week for Goodpasture Christian. Rucker had a pair of doubles, a triple, four homeruns, 14 RBI, scoring 12 runs, swiped five bags and reached base via a walk seven times. Rucker continues to put up solid numbers each week as he is set for Tennessee this fall. |
