Top Prospect Games Nashville: Quick Hits

+ UTL/RHP Cason Hill (MTCS, 2025) Athletic outfielder that is currently ranked inside the top 10 for the 2025 class and showed that his current ranking at #8 may be in fact too low, as could end up having some of the highest ceiling in the class as his tools project off the charts. He led the group of players in almost every metric category. 97 mph exit velocity off the bat, 385 batted max distance, rotational acceleration at 25 g’s, 80 mph bat speed, peak hand speed at 27 mph, 6.7 60 yard dash and the big one which truly separates Hill was his 97 mph across the diamond from Shortstop to First base, 90 mph from the mound. He truly has electric ability that 16 year olds shouldn’t possess. He has advanced instinctive tools and has a feel for using his body, although the next step for him is honing all that in a more controlled manner. The impressive thing more than anything about Hill is he is doing all that at about 165 pounds. He has a chance to be really special and it starts with him just continuing to build trust in himself and his ability. 

+ OF/RHP Kirk Weatherford (Clarksville, 2025) Athletic kid with a strong built frame at 6 foot 1 and 195 pounds in the 2025 class that truly can play just about anywhere. Left handed hitter that just understands how to hit and projects to all fields. 99 mph exit velo off the bat with just a smooth stroke. 84 mph from the outfield with online target throws. Also showed his running ability with a 6.8 60 yard dash. This kid shows up to play and has a gamer edge to him as he produced in the game portion extremely well. 

+ C Reagan McCluskey (Christ Presbyterian Academy, 2025) Another guy that we have ranked inside the top 10 for the 2025 class and McCluskey continues to build on that with an impressive game play off some really good arms going 2-3 with two doubles in the gap. He has present strength with some natural athleticism and tough to gauge where he projects the best right now between catching or as a corner outfielder. Led the group with a 1.92 pop time and delivered accurate throws with an understanding of staying low and working through the baseball with a short arm action. 

+ RHP Josh Jeffcoat (Eagleville, 2024) Right handed pitcher at 6 foot 2 and around 165 pounds that utilizes his entire body in a very efficient way. Rotates his hips extremely well with fluid timing of hand separation in sync with his leg drive. Knows how to use his lead block leg to stop and rotate over his pelvis to hyperextension that allows him to really work through the baseball with a lead elbow. Worked 83-86, while topping 87 with life and command for using his pitches. This is a guy that could blossom as he adds weight and probably has low to mid 90’s in his body down the road. 

+ MIF Mark Harrell (Independence, 2024) Smooth MIF with present athletic actions that stands out on the diamond. Knows how to contort his body in the infield and that was evident on a slow roller where he gathered the ball with his glove and throwing hand simultaneously on his right hand side with a fluid transition to throw off balance that not many high school kids are advanced enough to make. At the plate, he had a 94 mph average exit velo with a gap to gap approach and a much more physical kid than previously thought. 

+ RHP Evan Bloomer (First Assembly Christian, 2024) RHP with a long and strong frame at 6 foot 3, that has an athletic profile with it and really showed out on the mound. Sat in the 86-88 MPH range with a high ¾ arm slot that worked downhill on hitters. Also showcased the ability to throw a curveball and a slider with tight spin and the command to use it. Uses his body extremely well and the next step for him is continuing to develop his arm speed that could propel him into the 90 mph club.
