Unsigned Senior Spotlight: LaVergne OF/LHP Baylor Steelman

By Matt Byrd
TN Director of Scouting

Baylor Steelman has participated in multiple PBR events, showing well at each one. Steelman plays bigger than his size with a combination of good athleticism and arm strength. What is intriguing about Steelman is the two-way potential he can bring to a college program. The lefty has shown good pitchability, and his arm strength from the outfield may mean there is more in the tank on the mound than he has shown. The following is a closer look at the uncommitted senior.
