TEXAS - Each week, PBR Texas will be showcasing an Offensive Player of the Week as well a Pitcher of the Week. These are names submitted by High School Coaches. Honorable Mentions will be released the following day under "Diamond Notes". Thank you to all the coaches that submitted players this week.

 

Pitcher of the Week

Kolby Killough - RHP/SS - 2022 - China Spring - Uncommitted

Killough tossed a five inning no hitter with thirteen strikeouts and one walk to start the season in a 16 - 0 win Vs. Clifton. He contributed at the plate as well and ended up on the Tom Oliver All-Tournament team.

 

Offensive Player of the Week

Jayson Jones - SS - 2022 - Denton Braswell - Arkansas Commit

Jones got off to a monster start this season going seven for ten in his first thirteen plate appearances. He slugged 1.700 with two homeruns, one triple, and two doubles. Adding to that, three walks and zero strikeouts. The Arkansas commit can flat out swing it.
