*Grades follow the 20-80 scale, with 50 used as the MLB average.

  • Strengths:  Good build frame for future strength, strike thrower, CB/SL both showed avg at times, ability to spin ball present. He will throw harder, worked 90-92 for 7 innings getting 93 in 7th. Competed
  • Weaknesses:  Lost slider release point, blended action as game went. Limited use change (didn’t need it to succeed.
  • Summation:  I really like this HS RHP. Starter profile. 4 pitch mix with plus FB in future. FB has ticked up since last summer when I saw him, topping 90 at that time, now peaking at 93. Ability to spin ball present showing avg action to both during outing. Showed durability getting 93 in the 7th. Has a change, didn’t need it today. Strike thrower. Competed.
