Scouting Report

The junior backstop is a good defender behind the plate, and has a knack for finding the barrel. He showed very well in the Prep Baseball Invitational earlier this year. He had a homerun but he also had a lot of barrels off some of the best arms in the tournament. For as good as his weekend was, it could have been better, as he hit multiple balls hard that turned into outs. He is a good receiver and blocker behind the plate. His arm is good enough and he is an accurate thrower. It takes a plus catcher to win it all, and Keller has that in Scheiden.
