The Texas Diamond Notes will focus on highlighting some of the top performances across the state based on nominations from high school coaches. We will highlight positions players, pitchers and two-way players every Tuesday/Wednesday of the high school season that had impressive weeks during their team's games. Special thank you to the many high school coaches that sent in nominations this week.

+ Brady Ladusau, LF (Heath, 2025; Dallas Baptist commit):
8-for-17, 1 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR, 2 BB, 6 RBI on the week. Ladusau was named the Mizuno Player of the Week for Week 3.


+ Braydon Wisener, P/OF (Huffman-Hargrave, 2026):
Pitched Complete Game vs Salado (7 IP, 90 pitches, W, 7K, 1 ER), Also recorded 6 Hits at the Huntsville Tournament; 6-for-13, 2 2B, 2 BB, 3 RBI, 1 SB on the week as a hitter.


+ Jackson Higgins, 2B (Santa Fe, 2025):
8-for-17, 2 2B, 1 HR, 7 RBI, 3 SB on the week as a hitter. As a pitcher: Vs. Alvin: 6 ⅔ IP, 0 H, 4 BB, 0 ER, 11 K.


+ Dylan Wigley, RHP (Salado, 2024):
Threw a perfect game in 5.0 innings against Rosenberg Terry with 7K; vs. Rosenberg Terry: 5 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 0 ER, 7 K.


+ Ian Rister, RHP (Heath, 2025):
Vs. Celina: 7 IP, 7 H, 0 BB, 1 ER, 8 K.


+ John Dolan, P/C (Huffman-Hargrave, 2026; Missouri commit):
No-Hitter vs Houston Christian; 7 IP, 0 H, 2 BB, 0 ER, 11 K. Dolan was named the Mizuno Pitcher of the Week for Week 3.


+ Peyton Peoples, P (Royse City, 2026):
Vs. Kaufman: 7 IP, 0 H, 1 BB, 0 ER, 4 K.
