HAYWARD, CALIF - The top talent in Northern California of the classes of 2024 and 2025 gathered at Chabot College in Hayward, California for the NorCal ProCase. The leaderboards for the event have already been released but this publication offers insight to the gameplay on top of the showcase performances.
The workout included running 60-yard dashes followed by batting practice and a defensive session. After the traditional This invite only event had hand picked players by the PBR team that stood out in previous PBR events and in their Spring high school seasons.
Quick Hits is a recap of some of the top performances that stood out to us. It is not a ranking or top prospect list.

NorCal ProCase
Barnes II showed off a mid-high 80s fastball, topping at 89 mph, with extreme arm side run. He paired this with a slider/curve with an average spin rate of 2652 rpms which topped the event. These two plus pitches is plenty of projectable in velocity and movement as he continues to grow into his 6'4 frame.
Handy possesses a little bit of everything, he ranked second among catchers at the ProCase in pop time and catcher velocity. With the bat he averaged 90.9 mph exit velo and sprayed balls all over the yard. He also ran a 6.87 second 60-yard dash. He's a full package behind the plate and looks poised to shine this summer and get serious D1 looks.
Solle may just stand at 5'11 but that doesn't stop him from reaching back and throwing absolute darts with two plus off-speed pitches. The velo on the FB was up to 90 with 2311 spin rate and his curveball was impossible to touch at 76 with 2887 spin rate. The changeup was also nasty and left hitters confused when the ball disappeared during their swing.
Adrian Boles Spotlight
Boles was another standout pitcher for the ProCase, topping at 91.5 on his fastball to lead the event with two other powerful pitches.
DeVine was one of many of the bats crushing balls during BP and his numbers pop. An average exit velo of 90.7 with both line drive and fly ball percentages being over 40%. In the outfield, DeVine chucked the event's highest OF velocity of 94 and ran a 6.54 60. An all around guy that can do anything and everything on the diamond.
