The 2024 High School season is just getting undeway in Hawaii and for the first time ever, Prep Baseball Hawaii brings you Season Previews on High School teams from across the State. Coaches and players have been working nonstop since the conclusion of the 2023 season in preparation for a highly anticipated 2024 spring season. Throughout our Preseason Previews, we look to give you an inside scoop on some of the most highly talked about teams going into the spring season. With our seventh and final 2024 Season Preview, we bring you another spotlight of an Oahu program with the Waianae Seariders baseball program coming out of the Oahu West. The Seariders have put together back-to-back strong seasons following the COVID-19 year as they went 12-4 last year and 12-6 the previous year. With a strong crop of last year's squad returning this spring, Wai'anue is primed for another double-digit win season and will be a fun follow throughout the spring in Hawaii's Division II.

The 2024 Seariders are led by Head Coach Ben McQuown and below we'll break down everything you need to know about his team entering the new season.

Last season it was the offense that carried the Seariders through the season as they scored double-digit runs in eight of their 12 victories and scored 14+ on five different occasions. The upperclass positional players will be expected to continue producing runs but they several names in the 2026 class who are also ready to made the leap and begin making an impact on a more regular basis.
