Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma was able to catch some of the class A and B high school fall actions this year, including parts of both state tournaments. A common theme on the winning squads was first basemen that could really handle the bat. Today PBR Oklahoma takes a look at three uncommitted senior first baseman that lead their teams with the bat.

Austin Dahlenburg, Lookeba-Sickles HS
A 6-foot-2, 220-pound square build, thick and strong lower half. Offensively, right-handed hitter, all fields approach, hand strength. Athletic, slightly back leg heavy , quiet set-up, short stride, very short to the ball, on plane through contact, good leg drive, stays inside the ball, extremely compact swing.  Defensively, good hands, average arm.  Lead his team to a class B fall state championship this year.

Marcus Hampton, Tushka HS
A 6-foot-1, 200-pound strong, muscular build, broad shoulders, thick lower half. Offensively, left-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, hand strength.  Slightly open, balanced, athletic stance, short stride, some rhythm, length in the swing. Good power production, handles pitches middle and inside well. Deffensively, a strong arm, good actions at 1B, athletic enough to play the outfield and pitch as well.  Hampton helped his squad run away with the class A fall title this year.

Cody Muncy, Red Oak HS
A 6-foot-3, 235-pound thick, strong build, proportional strength throughout.  Offensively, left-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, advanced bat speed. Knock-kneed set-up, good rhythm, loose hands, smooth load, hangs on the leg kick for timing, some length, slight up-hill path produces lots of backspin.  Defensively, good hands and feet, throws from a low slot, average arm. The 2016 spring state champion lead his team to a runner up fall class B finish this year.
