The Hawks return seven starters from a team that won 33 games last year, including 3 top 100 players from the Texas 2018 Class. 2018 C Cole Stilwell will lead the Hawks behind the plate. The Kansas State commit is ranked No. 33 in Texas, and hit .400 last season with 61 RBI. Stilwell is one of the best pure hitters in the state and is an RBI machine. Other returners in the lineup are 2018 OF Jake Wade (.403 AVG), 2018 Chris Teufel (.393 AVG), 2019 OF Miller Ladusau (.385 AVG), and 2018 C Hunter O'Shea. Keep an eye on 2018 OF Nolen Hester, a Wofford commit that transferred in, and 2020 Casey Curtin, a young right-handed hitter has some pop in his bat.

On the mound, Heath will have two front line starters in Kaden Krowka and Anderson Needham. Krowka, an Oklahoma State commit, is currently ranked No. 69 in TX and finished 2018 with an 8-4 record and 1.91 ERA. Needham, a Baylor commit, transferred in this year and will be a valuable addition to the pitching staff. If the Hawks can sure up the bullpen, they have the rotation and lineup that to compete with any team in the state.
