Outlook:
George Mason is coming off of a strong 2014 season that saw them advance to the 2A East playoffs before their season came to an end. The 2015 Mustangs will again be strong as they return the bulk of their pitching staff and most of their lineup. The lineup will be led by Chris Meador (MIF/RHP, 2015), Evan Davis (OF/RHP, 2015), Gabe Terry (1B/RHP, 2015), Marsden Davis (C, 2016), Logan Nesson (IF/RHP, 2016), and Zach Lang (OF/RHP, 2017). All of those guys will also contribute for what will be a very deep pitching staff. The Mustangs will have a strong defense to support that pitching staff this spring. If they can generate consistent offense and quality at-bats throughout the lineup, George Mason will be a dangerous team in Conference 35 and has the depth to go deep in the 2A East playoffs.
