Future Games Team Mid-Atlantic: Friday Quick Hits

Wednesday, July 26 marks the beginning of the 2023 Prep Baseball Report Future Games, which will again be held in Emerson, Georgia at our LakePoint Sports Complex. For this event the various PBR staffs from around the country select the best uncommitted rising juniors and sophomores to form teams to represent their state or region in the event, bringing well over 450 of the best uncommitted players in the United States and Canada to one four field quad for 4 days.
For this event, players from Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and DC are selected to form Team Mid-Atlantic. Players on Team Mid-Atlantic will have a position player showcase workout on Wednesday and then play in three games, one per day, Thursday-Saturday. Scouts from all 30 MLB teams and well over 300 college coaches are expected to be in attendance.
On Friday, Team Mid-Atlantic played its second game of the 2023 Future Games against Team Carolinas, winning the Border Battle 10-9. Team Mid-Atlantic will return to action on Saturday morning as it concludes its 2023 Future Games slate against Team California.
