In December we released an update to the Class of 2025. Today, we expand this class from the Top 200 to the Top 225, adding in twenty-five talented juniors from across the state. Although there was not much movement inside of the rankings from it's previous place, the spring high school season will be a big determining factor in the next update, which will come towards the end of the spring.

A big riser in this update is Gainesville left hander, Ryan Petro. Petro impressed in an early season outing at Paul VI. The compact left hander was up to 88 in this first inning of work and showed the ability to spin a pretty high level breaking ball. 

A pair of Spotswood right handers have made their way into the rankings after big performances at their respective preseason events.

Brady Hoover has a large, 6'2", 190-pound frame. It was an easy effort delivery with a quick arm. Hoover was up to 87 and showed some room to add more. 

Hoover's teammate, Carter Lenz, made a strong impression at the Wow Factor Scout Day in mid February. Long and lanky frame with projection left. Lenz was 86-87 and touched 88. The breaking ball is firm at 76-78 with shorter shape. While there is still some two-way intrigue, this would be an arm first profile right now.

After highlighting a trio of arms moving into the ranks, we wanted to point out a new positional face moving into the rankings. Cayden Diatelevi has long shown the tools and physicality to make him an intriguing prospect for the next level. The Steward outfielder has refined and polished some of those raw tools and it has started to translate into game play.
