Daily Roundup: April 9

Baseball season is underway in the Badger State and we will again bring you all the action on a daily basis through our Daily Roundup. We again have teamed up with Wisconsin Sports Network to bring you the most comprehensive coverage of game scores and highlights throughout the spring. Our Daily Roundup will include final scores with a link to box scores provided by wissports.net as well as any highlights or top performers we get. To make sure your highlights get included in the Daily Roundup, tweet your scores and highlights to us @PBRWisconsin or email them to Steve Nielsen at [email protected]. We will also be tracking GameChanger throughout the year, if your team uses GameChanger make sure we are notified and following your official scorer.

Clarksville Academy (TN) 3 N. 20 Kenosha Bradford 7 Orlando, FL  

Kyle Sinclar went 2-2, with 2 RBI and a run scored, sparking Bradford to a 7-3 victory in seven innings over Clarksville Academy on Thursday in Orlando, Florida.

He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Kyle Schulz struck out nine, paving the way for the win. Schulz allowed no earned runs on four hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings.

Steven Stover was sharp on the mound but took the loss for Bradford. Rancocas managed just two hits off of the Bradford pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out seven during his four innings of work.

Riverside was no-hit on their spring trip by Gonzaga College Prep HS out of the D.C. area.  
 
Lincoln (OH) 8 Union Grove 4  
It was a good day at the plate for Union Grove's Zac Melendrez. In the loss,  Melendrez went 3-4, drove in one and scored three runs. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.
 
No. 17 Kenosha Tremper 7 St. Charles Prep 3 Florida
Dayton commit Jeff Steuck had a big day at the plate. Steuck went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a home run. UW-Whitewater commit Noah Jenson also went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Justin Lavey chipped in with two more hits.
 
St. Charles Prep 3 No. 17 Kenosha Tremper 10 Florida  
In game two of their double header, Tremper's Jeff Steuck, Mitchell Buban and Hunter Weddel all went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, combining for six of the Tremper 10 hits.
